Sexual Violence Advocacy
Sexual violence advocacy is what sparked the creation of Why Not Us? on Allegheny's campus. Student organizers on our campus come together through Why Not Us? to create effective change in our collegiate community. As an organization we strive not only to end rape culture, but foster a consent culture. Only by flipping the script, and disrupting current systems, can we see real change in our local and national communities. From the #MeToo movement, to the It's On Us Campaign, we work to add to existing conversations to see real change and real conversations take place.
