Human Trafficking Advocacy

"Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery. This crime occurs when a trafficker uses force, fraud or coercion to control another person for the purpose of engaging in commercial sex acts or soliciting labor or services against his/her will."

-National Human Trafficking Hotline

Human Trafficking Awareness Month takes place through the month of January. During this month, we partner with Women's Services Inc. to put on educational programming and provide resources to students. We are also in the works on creating a program to assist members of our community to stay safe when traveling.
